This 5-day course is a must for all personnel who need a comprehensive understanding of the DB2 System environment. During this hands-on course the attendee will install their own DB2 subsystem, migrate their subsystem to a new release and analyze each address space for workload and performance considerations. Additionally detailed attention is given to the layout and content of the various DB2 data & system structures, what facilities are supplied to manage the DB2 environment and how DB2 relates to the z/OS environment. This course also reviews the DB2 Install parameters and presents an introductory approach to tuning your system.
