This course is designed as a guide to IBM’s E-Business architecture and the WebSphere products. The student will have an entry-level knowledge of the architecture and an understanding of the products, which include WebSphere Application Server (WAS v 5.x – 6.x), WebSphere Studio Application Developer (WSAD) and Rational Application Developer (RAD). The course will also help students to understand the underlying technologies, such as Java, J2EE, HTTP. If you are familiar with these technologies, but are new to WebSphere, the course will provide a general understanding of how everything fits together in a corporate environment. This is class is a lecture only class.
